In memory of those in our lives that are suffering or have suffered from cancer, I have registered to participate in riding and raising money for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.  The Ride to Conquer Cancer is a cycling journey throughout Victoria's scenic countryside, a 200km round trip over two days. 

My training had been going well until around 7 weeks ago when I was hit by a car whilst out cycling, luckily no broken bones! Someone up there was looking out for me....  As I continue my recovery and physio each week I know this ride will be a challenge for me in a number of ways, but I intend to give it everything I can.  I hope that the little bit I have to offer will make a big difference to someone suffering.  Generosity to date has been awesome, and I'd like to personally thank Jo Baxas for the use of her spare Bike to start training again.
