Hi my name's Karina and I decided to do this 200km bike ride through the Yarra Valley in memory of my cousin and closest friend Rebecca Jago who lost her battle with kidney/lung cancer in Oct2011. By the time we do the bike ride it would have been an entire since her passing. Bec always strived to do things greater than her strengths like hiking huge distances and well as many other activities. She suffered with the disease for almost 6years and Peter Mac was extremely supportive during this time and we want to help raise money for research and to give something back to Peter Mac. She is such an inspiration to me showing strength, courage & a cheerful spirit throughout the whole time. So that's why my friends & I are joining forces to raise money for the 200km bike ride through the Yarra Valley, so please sponser Bec's Troops by typing it into the webiste. Welcome to my Personal Page! The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, is a cycling journey throughout Victoria's scenic countryside that I?m embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!
