Please support My Ride to Conquer Cancer!

Welcome to my Personal Page!  As most of you know, I have worked at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre for almost 10 years now.  I am part of a large team of scientists all working towards a common goal - to help improve the lives of people affected by cancer.  Through our research, we aim to improve the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, but also understand the biology of cancers, how they arise, and how we can best combat this disease.

The Ride to Conquer Cancer is a 200km cycling journey that I'm embarking on to fight cancer. Cycling is not a sport I am experienced in  (or even comfortable with!)  but I wanted to participate in this challenging event to honour all those people who have survived an experience with cancer.  Including my mum, whose dad passed away from cancer when she was just a young girl.

Importantly, ALL funds raised in The Ride to Conquer Cancer will support Peter Mac - the only public hospital in Australia solely dedicated to cancer prevention, treatment and research.
