Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer?

Welcome to my Personal Page! The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, is a cycling journey throughout Victoria's scenic countryside that I?m embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!

A week after returning from a fantastic overseas holiday last August, Chereyne, my wife, was diagnosed with cancer.  After a wonderful 6 weeks away we were faced with the uncertainty and fear that the "C" word brings.  After many tests, scans, appointments we began the task to cure, my wifes cancer.   This brought us to become involved with the wonderful people at Peter Mac.  The surgeons, radiotherapists, the chemo nurses, doctors and assistants.  We had always heard about Peter Mac, but always from a distance.  After surgery and weeks of treatment we are no longer uncertain or fear for the future, instead we would like to raise awareness to the fabulous work of Peter Mac.  This is why I am taking part in the ride to conquer cancer on October 28.  I trust, you can support us and inturn support Peter Mac and their efforts to find a cure for cancer.
